Hypnotherapy is a trance state of deep concentration, focus and relaxation.

During your session, the Hypnotherapist will take you on a beautiful journey within. I personally use several techniques to deepen the effect. For example, the stair-case effect, small muscle group relaxation and the release of negative energy.

One the client is in a trance state and the conscious mind is adequately distracted – the subconscious is ready to receive the new positive suggestions (the basis for most change).

And to be perfectly clear, the subconscious will not accept any suggestion that goes against it’s moral character. So, if the Hypnotherapist says “jump off a bridge!” we all know that subconscious will simply disregard this comment.

It is also important to know, that the client (you) is in full control during the session. Forget everything you see on television or on stages (ultimately, if you want to quack like a duck – you’ll quack like a duck!).

Hypnotherapy feels like a light day dream – which is something we do all the time naturally. The brain waves used for daydreaming and light sleep are the same as the waves in a trance state.
