What Does Hypnosis do?

Hypnosis, with the guidance of a trained professional, is a deep state of relaxation, calmness, and ultra focus. The Hypnotist by using several methods will induce a trance state.

The Hypnotist by using specific and non-specific words or phrases will distract your conscious mind and have full access to your unconscious. Some clients begin to feel heavier, lighter, calm, relaxed, and other hypnotic phenomenon. The deeper you go, the more unusual sensations you may experience. I have personally felt numbness, chills, warmth, catalepsy (a feeling of rigidity, and a safe loss of muscle control).

Once, you’re in a deep trance state and confirmed by the Hypnotist powerful positive suggestions are embedded. To do this I use stories with specific hypnotic words and phrases (metaphors) that will immediately bypass your critical faculty and connect directly to your subconscious.

When completed correctly, the client will simply focus on the story without being fully aware of the message being delivered. Let me mention this very important point: the suggestions made must be positive and not go against your morals or ethics. Your subconscious will simply disregard any negative suggestions.

The Hypnotist will then need to properly close the session by ensuring all limitations and blockages have been removed and hypnotic loops closed.

I hope this article answers your questions regarding what hypnosis does, please feel free to reach out to me personally if you would like to discuss all your options.
