IN-PERSON SESSIONS V. E-MEETING

Fanis Makrigiannis of Mind Spirit Body Hypnosis is a Certified Hypnotherapist with The American Board of Hypnotherapy.

I’ve been asked a few times now regarding the differences between an in-person session vs. online (ex. Zoom).

Let me start off by saying, I have experienced both so here are my thoughts.

The main difference, and truly the only difference is that of person-to-person contact. It’s always nice to have personal connection only achievable while in the same space (and especially these days we really do need contact with other people).

Now, that being said I personally do not have any issues connecting emotionally online. You/me need to become more aware of what your client is saying verbally and non-verbally – so you need to pay that extra attention to client cues. This is where the fine art of complete communication is necessary.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to help you understand, resolve and overcome your emotional struggles.

Ok, so is Hypnosis just as powerful online vs. in-person?

I’m glad you asked, that’s a valid question.

Yes!

If your client can find an area that they will not be disturbed and can relax completely. Even then, an experienced therapist can get around that issue as well (I have my little secrets/techniques I use when the client is in a nosier environment).

I’ve found that the client (because they’re in a familiar place can also relax easier). They have their own comfy and cozy couch, or lounge. they can wear comfier clothing not worrying as much about appearances coming in-office.

And now, these days with an ongoing pandemic most clients will feel safer.

I’ve had equally powerful results regardless of session location.

So, these are my personal thoughts – I hope your questions have been answered. And if not, well drop me a DM on Instagram @mindspiritbodyhypnosis for more info.
