How many sessions of Hypnotherapy do you need?

This is a fantastic question and has spurred great debates within our industry. That being said I will document in this post my personal experiences to where the optimal session range.

As you read this article, keep in mind it takes approximately 21 days to form a habit (that’s why most free trial memberships tend to be longer than not).

Some Hypnotherapists will tell you that only one session is needed, others will say seven.

I believe one session is a good start, Marisa Peer will say up to three sessions are needed.

My personal preference is around five. Hypnosis is not a “magic wand,” real work is needed and substantive results take time after most habits did not begin instantly (remember my 21-day habit-forming comment earlier).

When looking after a client their ecology and mental health must take precedence.

Some have asked: if I think five sessions are ideal then why don’t I offer that package?

Another great question, I programs | packages of 10, 16, and 20 sessions in length. Here is why I do what I do, my programs are behaviour + wellness. Meaning once the original issue has been resolved, I/we work on your confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, self-love, and much more. Anxieties and stresses are better managed and you are better able to cope with whatever life has to offer.

My hypnosis programs are truly transformational!

Wishing you the very best!
