Mind Spirit Body Hypnosis: Treating the cause(s) not the symptoms

I am amazed to hear how many therapists will attempt to treat the symptoms and not the root cause(s). Why would you treat smoking as not the reason why you began to smoke in the first place?

So what do I treat instead?

These are the main reasons people behave the way they do: lack of self-love (lovability), low self-worth, the feeling they are not enough, and the fear of rejection (not belonging).

There are also a secondary set of feelings | emotions that require special attention: trauma, anger, frustration, guilt, remorse, shame, and regret.

These are the main reasons why we behave the way we do, and each must be attended to accordingly.

So how do we heal all these emotions and feelings?

I use Timeline Therapy and Neuro-linguistic Programming at the very beginning of each session, and then follow up with some very powerful hypnotic suggestions to finish (that’s right the first portion of the session is not in hypnosis). NLP is very powerful when combined with hypnosis so I tend to blend all modalities.

The client will tell you everything you need to know, as long as you ask the right questions. If you fail to dig deeper the client may not understand what you truly require, sending you down the wrong path.

Sadly, many therapists simply are afraid to ask what is necessary, instead feeling the comfort of reading from a prepared script.
