Mind Spirit Body Hypnosis: What are negative thoughts?

Negative thoughts are thoughts that focus on the negative elements of a situation or a person. They are the thoughts that can lead to feelings of sadness, anxiety, and stress. Negative thinking is a natural and normal part of human thinking, and everyone experiences it from time to time. However, when negative thinking becomes a sample or a habit, it can have detrimental effects on mental health and well-being.

Negative thoughts can take many forms, including self-criticism, self-doubt, fear, worry, and anger. They can be triggered with the aid of external events such as rejection or failure, or they can arise from inner factors such as low self-esteem or perfectionism. Negative thoughts can be mindful or unconscious, and they can be fleeting or persistent.

A self-criticism is a common form of negative thinking that involves harshly judging oneself for perceived flaws or mistakes. This type of thinking can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem, which can contribute to depression and anxiety. Self-doubt is another kind of negative thinking that involves questioning one’s competencies or worthiness. This can lead to a lack of confidence and motivation, which can hinder personal and professional growth.

Fear and worry are also common forms of negative thinking that can be debilitating. Fear is an emotion that arises from a perceived threat or danger, and it can set off the fight or flight response in the body. While fear can be useful in some situations, continual fear can lead to anxiety and stress. Worry, on the other hand, is a kind of thinking that involves dwelling on potential problems or negative outcomes. This can lead to anxiety and stress, as properly as a lack of focus and productivity.

Anger is another form of bad thinking that can be harmful to mental health and relationships. Anger is a normal emotion, but when it becomes severe or frequent, it can lead to aggression, hostility, and even violence. Chronic anger can also contribute to depression and anxiety, as nicely as physical health problems such as excessive blood pressure and heart disease.

Negative thoughts can additionally contribute to the development of mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. Negative thinking is a common symptom of these disorders. When negative thinking will become a pattern or a habit, it can reinforce negative beliefs and attitudes, making it more difficult to break the cycle of negative thinking.

Mind Spirit Body Hypnosis: Can hypnosis stop negative thoughts?

Yes, absolutely!

We, at one point or another, have done this.

That voice from within, deep within. We can hear the echo as those words resonate to our very core.

“Why am I so stupid?”
“Why can’t I sleep?”
“I hate myself!”

So how do I as a Hypnotherapist help my clients remove this talk?

I use a two-step approach.

Step one is by using Timeline Therapy to add resources back to when all this started – at the source.

Adding resources is a very powerful tool to use, it helps re-imprint the original event so your memory of it changes completely. Remember this, you cannot remove a memory only HOW you feel about it!

Step two is accomplished by using Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP).

I scramble the message to change you who “see” the event.

By altering the volume, and direction of the sound, and changing the format and spacing of the event you will no longer be a victim of your thoughts and words.

Hypnosis alone is a very powerful tool to help you overcome negative thoughts and self-talk. By using Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Timeline Therapy (TLT) the effects and results can be simply profound.

So how quickly do you see results?

There is no correct answer here, we are all different and see results differently as well. Some may feel differently, and others may need to “unpack” the session before the results are truly felt.

Remember this general rule of thumb: the issue didn’t happen in an instant, healing is the same.
